For a newly opening store in the centre of Amsterdam we are looking for a Floormanager.
With a clear vision for the store, you ensure excellent quality and service. Thanks to your leadership skills, everything runs smoothly and you and your team deliver happiness to dozens of customers every day. You gain energy from helping customers and motivating employees. As an experienced assistant store manager, you instinctively know what is needed to achieve the best results and solutions. This way, you accomplish your revenue targets and the personal goals of your team.
You use your expertise, reliability, and sense of service to support the store manager in the branch. You assist with the following tasks:
• Managing the daily operations of the store—always with a customer-first mindset;
• Achieving revenue targets while maintaining the required quality, productivity, and cost control;
• Translating strategy and policies into concrete results;
• Leading and coaching employees to bring out the best in your team.
You run the store with flair and a clear vision—one that ensures satisfied customers and enthusiastic employees. You know that success is never achieved alone. As an assistant store manager, you make optimal use of your team’s expertise and know how to get the best out of every colleague.
For this position, you bring:
• Bachelor-level thinking and working skills (HBO), and preferably an Optician diploma;
• At least 2 years of experience as an assistant store manager, store manager, or branch manager in optics or retail (or at least the ambition to grow into such a role);
• A sharp focus on results—you always aim to exceed expectations and work analytically and efficiently;
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, representative appearance;
• Strong stress resilience—you can keep 4 balls in the air at once and still keep your cool;
• The drive to continue developing yourself;
• A command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, at B1 level;
• A high degree of flexibility in availability due to our extended opening hours.
- A salary of up to €4,206 gross per month based on 38 hours including holiday allowance, depending on your knowledge and experience;
- A monthly bonus of up to 18%, based on three performance targets (the amount depends on your salary and achieved results);
- Travel allowance of €0,23 per kilometer;
- 25 vacation days with a full-time contract (38 hours);
